Corentin Houillon, the Energy of Natural Wine in Chautagne
Based in Chautagne, Savoie, Corentin Houillon represents a new generation of winemakers committed to natural wine. On his vineyards around Serrières-en-Chautagne, he works with a deep respect for the living soil to fully express the identity of this Alpine terroir.
In the cellar, fermentations are carried out naturally, with minimal or no additives, and precise aging that lets the fruit shine. His cuvées showcase local grape varieties such as Jacquère, Altesse, and Mondeuse, producing wines that are vibrant, fresh, and full of energy.

So, what is Epi-curieux? And who’s behind it?
Behind the screen is a team of natural wine lovers, passionate about living wines, and believers in the immense talent of winemakers who respect the environment. Our online cellar offers hundreds of references of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. How do we select them? We go out to meet each artisan winemaker we work with, we share life moments and tastings. We absorb their stories in order to share them with you. The winemakers we represent are committed to creating wines that are respectful of the environment. The vineyards are cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, using only natural treatments. The wines contain no chemical additives, and only a minimal dose of sulfur is added if necessary.
Watch out: living wines ahead!
Each of our winemakers, whether certified or not (for some it’s simply natural to work this way), has one goal: to produce living wines where the terroir expresses itself and the grape bursts with flavor. Minimal intervention, to let nature do the talking... What could be better? Here, you'll find everything. Some more classic wines to ease into natural flavors without getting lost, some more funky bottles because that’s also part of the natural wine world, some UFOs, unmissable gems... You’re sure to find something you love!
