The vineyard of Provence extends from the south of Avignon to Nice having a great Mediterranean influence and producing white, red and rose wines. The Alpilles also have a role to play in certain sectors bringing great freshness. Mourvèdre is king in appellations such as red Bandol, but there are also Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Sémilion, Ugni Blanc, Clairette, Vermentino, etc. Out of 9 listed AOCs.
