The Wines of Ploia
The Story of Ploia
Ploia, the natural wine from the Pyrenees that reaches new heights. In the heart of the Val d’Azun, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Ploia is a wine estate unlike any other. Founded by Cécile Legrand and Matthieu Moulic, this committed project produces natural wines from organic grapes, hand-selected in the Pyrenees. No additives in the winemaking process, an artisanal approach, and a respect for all living things: each cuvée reflects the richness of a still little-known mountain terroir. At Ploia, wine becomes a true link between nature, land, and craftsmanship, with a unique, vibrant, and local signature.
Ploia's Cuvées
Thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, Ploia was able to launch its first cuvées and lay the foundations for a visionary project: creating a vineyard in mid-altitude mountains, producing the first natural wine of the Val d’Azun. A pioneering initiative, in response to the challenges of climate change, relying on altitude to preserve freshness and balance in the wines. Ploia embodies a new generation of winemakers from the Southwest — sensitive, innovative, and deeply rooted in their region. A beautiful journey to follow — and to taste right away.
