All About Pépin Wine
The Story of Domaine Pépin
The Pépin project was born with a clear ambition: to make natural wine more understandable, simple, and friendly, while maintaining a high standard for grape quality and winemaking. Jean and Pierre Dietrich rely on a network of Alsace winemakers committed to organic farming, from whom they select grapes grown on different terroirs in the region. Harvesting is done by hand and winemaking is carried out with minimal intervention to allow natural fermentations and preserve the expression of the fruit. The Pépin project also stands out for its desire to break traditional wine codes, notably through modern communication and colorful labels designed to demystify natural wine and invite exploration.
The Wines of Domaine Pépin
Pépin wines are crafted with purity and immediate pleasure in mind, aiming to offer accessible natural wines without compromising their identity. Each wine reflects collective work from the vineyard to bottling, with constant attention to balance, freshness, and drinkability. Vinifications favor natural fermentations, tailored aging, and minimal intervention to let the grape express itself freely. Wines evolve according to vintages and grape origins but share a common goal: to offer lively, honest, and digestible wines meant to be enjoyed and shared, far from any elitist approach.
