The wines of Domaine Gross
Rémy and Vincent Gross, Alsace winegrowers
Domaine Gross is a family estate in Alsace, based in Gueberschwihr at the foot of the Goldert Grand Cru. Rémy Gross has handed over to his son Vincent, who now makes wines rooted in Alsatian tradition yet resolutely alive.
The vines are farmed biodynamically, with respect for the soils and living things, to let the richness of Alsace’s terroirs shine through.
Alsace wines full of energy
Vincent loves to explore: macerations, amphora ageing, blends… His wines keep the precision of great Alsace whites, with added energy and drinkability that make all their charm. Vibrant, mineral and saline natural wines.
The cuvées of Domaine Gross
Variation is a Sylvaner macerated for a few days then aged in amphora: a mineral, saline wine of incredible energy.
Opus is a tangy, fruity Pinot Noir with a slightly smoky, spicy character: light and incredibly easy to drink.
We have also enjoyed offering Cadence, Louis, Rhapsodie, Prélude and Gold(ert), so many scores in the estate’s musical range.
Alsace natural wines not to be missed!
