The wines of Domaine des Buis
Pauline Broqua, a born winegrower
Pauline began her career as a sommelier specialising in natural wine for 15 years. She then worked for Jean-Marc Viguier at his estate in Entraygues, where she learned to work the vines, before taking over the plots when Jean-Marc retired in 2018. Making her own wines then became obvious.
Pauline also fights every day to remind women that they have their place in the wine world and can fly with their own wings! She first farmed 2 hectares in Entraygues-sur-Truyère, before expanding the estate from 2019.
Domaine des Buis, a committed estate
The estate now covers more than 7 hectares, three of them on terraces, in the villages of Entraygues-sur-Truyère and Campouriez, in the Aveyron. One third is planted with white, Chenin, and two thirds with red: Fer Servadou, Cabernet Franc and local grapes such as Mouyssaguès and Negret de Banhars. The wines are natural and certified organic. For Pauline, protecting the land against climate hazards is essential, without ever altering the taste of the terroir.
The cuvées of Domaine des Buis
Pauline makes 100% natural reds, whites and rosés that reflect her Aveyron terroir.
Marin d’eau douce blends Fer Servadou and Cabernet Franc: a light, fruity red that pairs beautifully with meals. Also available in magnum.
Les Brumes is a Chenin white full of energy, reflecting both the terroir and Pauline’s personality.
Chauffe Marcel, a blend of Fer Servadou, Gamay and Cabernet Franc, is a fruity, generous rosé that tastes like holidays.
Pauline also makes cuvées with humorous names such as De toute façon le vent souffle and Oups I did it again.
One of our favourites from South-West France!
